Report documents impact of poor public transit

A NEW RESEARCH REPORT produced by the Dukakis Center for Urban and Regional Policy at Northeastern University and the community organizing group Neighbor to Neighbor suggests public transit is inadequate for low-income people in Worcester, Lynn, East Boston, and Springfield. The report, funded by the Barr Foundation, relies heavily on focus groups and door-to-door interviews with 350 residents in the targeted communities. For links to the report, click here.
